Jenny began her performing life on the cold hard streets of Toronto. She started busking as a way to support her university education in theatre, and immediately fell in love with the traditionally untraditional medium of street performance. Its spontaneity, interactivity, deep human connection, and most of all, the joy of surprising laughs out of passers-by inspired her to make embodying her crowd-pleasing characters into a career. While pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Performance Production from Ryerson Theatre School and building on classical dance training which informs her use of creative movement, she has slowly incorporated elements of mime and clown technique into her work. Now, as well as studying corporeal mime with Dr. Giuseppe Condello and continuing to hone her skills and acts on the street, she performs internationally for a wide variety of clients and festivals, from Dundas Square to Dubai!
